Why does anyone start a company?

Emmanuel Gobillot started his career in financial services as a line manager. He then became a program manager on one of the UK’s first financial services web-enabled CRM implementations. Observing the organizations he worked for he would always come back to one stark conclusion: there must be a better way.

• There must be a better way to lead.
• There must be a better way to engage an organization’s creativity, passion and drive.
• There must be a better way to relate to our customers.

‘There must be a better way’ became his mantra. Tired of repeating it, he decided that he would devote his next move to finding that better way. That was 10 years ago!

On his quest Emmanuel joined some of the world’s leading researchers and practitioners in the field. As a consultant at Hay Group he became first Head of Consumer Sector consulting, then Director of Leadership Services. He consulted with some of the world’s leading CEOs and Executive teams on questions of leadership, collaboration and innovation.

Following the global success of his first book ‘The Connected Leader’ Emmanuel created Emmanuel Gobillot Limited to devote time to his writing and speaking engagements whilst continuing to consult and research in these exciting times.

At no time in history have we ever managed to record economic growth without damaging our environment so at a time when the sustainability of business is now forever locked with the sustainability of our planet, we have created a network of freethinking business-focused consultants (from organizations such as ELP, Hay Group and Quartet Research) asking the big questions that make a big difference.
